Now that a lot of big hits are now banned in the NFL. Maddens new big feature will be removal of the hit stick. While I am joking here, this would now not surprise me.

Dude the NFL wont let EA have the tattoos on players, of course the hit stick will be gone. Well the very least the screen shaking version.

The hit stick isn't even something I try much anymore as it always seems the human controlled defence is so much slower than the AI controlled offence.

When does the license expire between EA and the NFL?

lol..the game would be available in august 2014, but it could be in the works in 2012 or 2013. All depends on the NFL allowing another developer to make it and what year too develop it.

lol i wouldnt be suprised, the NFL is very hands on with their merchandise not allowing EA to do a lot of things
