Can you gimp with a broken leg?

While this is video is funny, it made me wonder: Is this a glitch or can you put a player in with a broken leg and have him gimp around the field, presumably at a lower rating?

Any thoughts?

In Madden 10 if a player injures his leg he will limp for the rest of the play. Haven't seen it in 11 yet tho.
