Jake Locker is incredibly interesting. He's the epitome of a project player.
SPD and ACC should be set to a very running able level. But not to allow him to be a scrambling threat. i.e. I dont think his pocket mobility is all that great. But that's not a rating in Madden. So the SPD/ACC should be set at a level to reflect that.
Awareness is a stat I still dont understand. But I imagine it shouldn't be too great.
TheRunandShoot(hopefully he'll stumble his way in here) can definitely ball park his throw ratings, better than I can. I think he's a pretty average passer, deep ball is decent, but throws the ball with inaccuracy at all ranges, a lot.
Can't gripe too much about the accuracy. I haven't seen as much of him this year with Washington playing on the west coast, but I've seen him make some nice stick throws in the intermediate range and I always thought he was a better deep thrower than anything. Plus, I was trying to factor in some of the accuracy ratings I have heard others have seen with the NCAA import. I was thinking maybe the overall THA would come out around 80. Apparently, my starting baseline was waaaayyyy to high.

Thats crazy that u say that i havent been on os in days.
It's funny that people wanna rush to judgement on what he should be despite only seeing a couple of games of his. I don't care what anybody says but he's never gotten good coaching.

I thought he was better at the deep ball that he was at his shorter game? What would you say about his throw on run and PA?

True but in madden terms it doesn't really work that way. A 99 TAD doesn't mean that the qb hits a deep wr in stride every time, but a 99 TAS does hit his short wr in stride most of the time.
jake will hit a guy 40 yards down field in stride in triple coverage but then 2 quarters later be 12 yards short of in the same play and it gets picked off by a line backer who shouldn't be in the play. this is what's frustrating about him. people dont know if its jakes fault, coaching, his teammates, etc.
I think those ratings really capture those inconsistencies and allow him to progress in franchise mode.
TOR: 83
PA: 62
Play action is none existent. He's never been really coached it and it isn't in Sarkisian's "pro style" offense (imo end arounds aren't prostyle)
TOR is just like his accuracy one play he looks better than steve young or jim zorn the next he looks like jay cutler or akili smith.
If I were a scout his ceiling is Steve young and his floor is akili smith.
Matt Barkley is being coached by an idiot an still doing much better then Locker. A ton of guys don't get good coaching an show more then Locker ever has. I hope he turns out good in the pros tho. I was on the bandwagon until his pathetic showing vs nebraska.
