Madden 2004 trade

I traded away David Carr and 1st and 2nd round draft picks for Mike Vick. It seems that the CPU AI is a little more reluctant to trade away talented players.

THAT trade would NEVER happen. I wish the AI was a little better in ALL of the football games. Guys like Vick and McNabb and Peppers should be considered franchise guys and thus untradeable unless they are in the last year of their contract.

Well if the CPU draft AI is decent, they may get some quality players in the draft and David Carr has some potential, but he is no Mike Vick. Still, I agree that certain talented players like Mike Vick should never be traded.

You still gave up a lot.....Carr is an awesome QB in the game, plus and 1st AND 2nd? If someone offered that to me in the game and I had Mike Vick.....I'd do it.

From a football sense, I think this isn't a bad trade. Vick for Carr and Clarett and .... #1 or 2 Safety Available? That would upgrade a team fast.

But (and this is where owners mode should play in), no one would ever trade away Vick and all the jerseys and other merchandise he's selling.

Yeah......Vick's jersey sales are pretty crazy. You see em EVERYWHERE in real life. Too bad for the people who bought em last year, gotta get a new one this year if they want to "stay up to date"
