    Franchise WR

I'm going to stat a Redskins franchise and want to sign or trade for a Wide Receiver. I made a list of who I was thinking in order. A lot of these guys become free agents but they never do in Madden for me. I'll wait till the offseasopn in case. I'm willing to give up a 2nd, 3rd, and 5th round draft pick. What do you think?

    Sidney Rice
    Chad Ocho Cinco
    Vincent Jackson
    Steve Smith (Panthers)
    Santonio Holmes
    Roy Williams (Cheap)
    Malcom Floyd
    Mike S Walker
    Donte Stallworth ( Not starter(cheap))
    Madden 25 - Steelers
Year 1 - 10-6 Lost in WC Round
Year 2 - 14-2 Lost in AFC Championship
    Year 3 - 11-5

    Re: Franchise WR

Vincent jackson would be most realistic. He wants big money and redskins are always willing to pay. The wnd would be chad johnson (he's changing his name back), but I doubt he would want to play for the redskins but ya never know

Ok the thing is I would like to sign Jackson instead of trading for him but he's never a free agent. I don't want to control all 3o teams. Is there a setting u can change that makes a player more likely to become a free agent?

            Re: Franchise WR

I think u should go for santino holmes or vicent jackson i prefer vicent because he is a big reciever with good speed and in the red zone u could throw it up to him

              Re: Franchise WR

I'm planning to have my wide receivers lined up like this:

              1. Vincent Jackson
              2. Santana Moss
              3. Donte Stallworth

I'm starting to think Roy Williams might not be terribly unrealistic

                Re: Franchise WR

i would go with who ever has the best release rating becauses thats the problem with the skins wrs they are always getting jammed at the line so i say sidney rice............but i would suggest finding a 6'3-6'6 200+ lb wr in the draft with good skills before giving up draft picks because the oline needs to get better and younger

                  1. Vincent Jackson

                    Re: Franchise WR

I was thinking of somehow trying to get Vincent Jackson in my Panthers franchise to play alongside Steve Smith. Let me know how he goes!

By the way, i dont think/i hope the Panthers will ever let Steve Smith go. He could very well be the face of the franchise.

Sims-Walker -Fast, sorta big n a deep threat
                      Heyward-Bey -Fast, cheap,sorta big n a deep threat...

thats what I would do...I've gotten some great talent in the 3rd and 4th rounds...big guys with speed, hands and release...none of them can outshine calvin johnson but still, excellent players.

traded for Heyward-Bey in an older franchise of mine and he was good for me in the slot. As the Panthers, i had Steve Smith and Dwayne Jarrett starting and Heyward-Bey in the slot. He caught alot of passes for me and returned kicks aswell.

Wow, my team is deadly on play action!! Here are my receiving projections.

                              WR
Vincent Jackson 100-105 rec, 1,200 yards 11 TD
Santana Moss 95-100 rec, 1,150 yards 9 TD
Anthony Armstrong 50 rec, 650 yards 4 TD
Harry Douglas 20 rec, 250 yards 2 Td
Roydell Williams 10 rec, 110 yards 1 TD
Brandon Banks 5 rec, 75 yards 1 TD

                              TE
Chris Cooley 70 rec, 1,000 yards 6 TD
Fred Davis 35 rec, 500 yards 4 TD

                              FB
Mike Sellers 10 rec, 50 yards 2 TD

                              HB
Ryan Torain 15 rec, 200 yards 2 TD
Clinton Portis 10 rec, 100 yards 2 TD

I got high hopes. McNabb probably can't play this well. Oh well, you never know.
