Plays called & Scheme changes

It has been noted that coaches will have more of an impact this year.
I havent seen anything that says when a team hires a new coach that coach and/or coordinators will change the playbook(s) used during games.
Right now every new coach hired has the same 4-3 scheme with 50/50 for every coaching setting. You have to control every team to make sure the scheme changes properly. I would like to know if this new "coaches matter" feature will be more than just OLB +5 TAK/ QB -5 AWR

I too want to know this. I think that they are just adding the +/- to player stats. I hope they have plans on making this currernt gen quality instead of just playing catch up on last gen features. Now they need to go farther.

yeah because some of these features were in previous madden's,its not like they are really giving us something brand new and innovating.

i would like to know that for the first time in 3 years i dont have to control all times due to lack of realistic strategy

a team's passing tendencies should change the year you see M. Martz under Staffing

The Coaching Carousel in NCAA 12 looks so sweet, definitely something madden needs to consider adding.

Thats one of the Good things that when Madden was on PC there was an editor and you could go in and change the way a team is coached...
Ex: 85 Bears or 00 Ravens OR even 1999 Rams offense, you could make those teams and then edit and make them More aggressive..
With PS3 or 360 You cant..

we can do this in current madden but you have to control all the teams to do so.

a part of my offseason in madden is adjusting the Pass/Rush,Aggression, RB Carry Ratio, 3-4/4-3, for each team according to who is the HC and what players they gained/lost

Its a daunting task that usually takes all day when i factor in picking the appropriate draft picks for each team.


How were you allowed to do it for PC Madden???

yep
this is how some of us have gotten by playing franchise the past 3+ years.

control all teams and go to Coaching. Thats where all the scheme stuff is. All teams are set to 50/50 for every setting and 4-3 for every scheme.

This is why certain MLB's dont get the stats they are supposed to get and also why certain OLB's dont register sacks.

Currently when you hire a new coach or coordinator that was already on a team when the franchise started the former team's scheme will follow him to the new team BUT they still call the plays of the old coach of the current team AND they dont adjust the depth chart according to scheme

If you want to see teams play differently, create a unique gameplan for every team. This was an awesome addition for M11.

If you're looking for sim stats, change the coaching settings.

but thats the point!!!!!

we have to do it.

In the offseason if a CPU controlled team hires a new coach the new coach should bring with him a new playbook.
I shouldnt have to assign the cpu controlled team a gameplan is we have new "Dynamic Coaching" or whatever

Now that we have a better franchise mode they need to implement this is next year. Full coaching staffs or at least offensive and defensive coordinators with their own unique playbooks. Then when somebody is hired/fired they take their schemes with them. Their should be a nice list of CPU generated ones to hire on where you can look at their schemes and how your players fit. Coordinators can also relay reccomendations of players to draft/sign that they need/want for their system to succeed to the head coach who as we all know in todays NFL has to be tight with the GM. That would just be a start of what they could do with all that, would be amazing.

that is what im talkin about man

There was so much of this detailed stuff in HC09 but but we miss out on all of in Madden

Outside of +/- there is no difference in what coordinators we hire for teams.
