Re: Demo
Love the new overlays and broadcast cams/cuts
Im a bit concerned about the cpu QB play....as it looks like they're attempting too many bombs again
And the pass rush from the DEs still aren't getting up field enough
but Overall my interest level is much higher then in the past and am looking to more footage this weekHere We Go Steelers!!! Here We Go!!!

Re: Demo
Only caught the end of it, I want to see it again but quick impressions:
Pros:
- Players react realistically to play on field after play is over
- Graphics are amazing, not just awesome from photo capture
- Presentation is now shown without cut-scenes and shown realistically
- Scoreboard is awesome especially with stats shown right under scoreboard
- Cheeser player didn't fair very well, defensive AI looked improved
- Tackles look so much better, especially double hits. WR dropped ball after a double hit collision.
- Camera angles look really good: field goal angle, extra point angle, broadcast angle shown right before some plays
Cons:
- Ball Physics
- WR's need to fight for ball more, when the ball is in the airHave an awesome day!!Comment

Re: Demo
Parker had a good swim and sack as the demo started. Mccoy spin and running animations looked good. double coverage and they both lose Jennings yup true to life for Eagles. Vick was getting pounded too. he kept looking for the deep ball. Zone looked good too, though I thought I saw alittle too much overlapping.Comment

Re: Demo
Yea I noticed that too.. He looked a little lost on defense. He blitzed in with the OLB who was suppose to cover the FB on one play and got burnt.. I really hope the AI is good this year so I don't have to beast up the sliders like I did on 11..Comment

Re: Demo
Hopefully tomorrow I can see an actually decent video of live Madden 12 gameplay. We heard no in game sound and just Phil Frazier yapping. I liked what I saw visually, but I really want to hear the crowd, commentary, tackles, players, etc...Comment

Re: Demo
I must admit for the first time in 5-6 years I am VERY impressed with what I see from Madden.
-Cameras are the best in any sports game ever.
-Graphics look MUCH better and cleaner
-Player models are spot on IMO
-Running animations look much better and smoother
-Tackling is worlds better!! The violence of the tackles appears to finally be back.
-Couldnt tell much with the O-Line but it was nice to see the pass rushers be able to immediately sprint torwards the QB as soon as they got by the O-lineman. Didnt have that stuck in mud look.
- ****Pass trajectory and Pass Speed looked MUCH improved to me. The ball seemed to travel through the air much more realistically which will make catching and defending the pass more fun****
-Cut Scenes and instant replays looked great and flowed very well. (There was a scene with Aron Rodgers on the bench which was like 4 yards from the sideline Haha) I assume this will be fixed.
-Kicking cameras were amazing and I like the new kicking meter because its just like the PS2 days. (Hopefully the accuracy part of the meter varies depending on how good the kicker is)
-Saw a stat overlay after a TD that looked SPOT ON to a real life stat banner
-Hard to tell but I did not see much sliding or gliding at all.
Need to see more:
Commentary
Crowd noise/reaction
Running game
Run Blocking
Open Field control of ball carrier
EDIT- I have been around here a long time so I know how the hype machine works. I have been EXTREMELY dissapointed in the Next-Gen offerings to date. What I saw from those few minutes of gameplay made me very excited. I think this is the year that I can finally get back in to Madden. I am now anxiously waiting for the demo.
