Real football is just around the corner and so is the digitized version known as Madden 12, the latest installment in the NFL franchise from EA Sports.

If you read this blog there is a good chance you’re a football fan and if you’re a football fan that also plays video games there is a good chance you will be picking up Madden 12 when it hits stores next month.
You could wait unit the game is in stores, take the time to drive there and back and pay $60 for the game in the process, or you could pre-order the game through the Toys “R” Us website, have it delivered straight to your door and only pay $45 with free shipping.

I've ordered from Toys R Us in the past and it is usually a few days later from release date. Thus is why I said to contact Amazon to price match if you still want it come release day.

My main incentive on hoping they price match is that I've already applied two $20 promos to this order. If they price match, I get Madden 12 for $4.98 PLUS free release day shipping/pre-order bonuses.

I've never tried to price match anything from amazon... truthfully, I didn't know they price matched.

How do you go about it? Do you call, email, or is it an option when you order? I'd rather go through amazon to get the release day shipping.

How often do they actually match the price?

Anyway, I sent them the TRU url too, here's hoping. Still keeping my TRU order in unless they actually do it - something tells me this deal isn't gonna be around forever...
