Madden 12 worth it?

I just don't know anymore what to buy....Can someone outline some problems with NCAA Football 12? I wonder if the same problems will be in madden...

Going to play the demo for a few weeks, if it suck me in then I'll preorder. If it disappoints me after another few weeks (or patch) then I'll trade it to try and get some value back.

Then I'll patiently wait for 2k NFL...

you can't compare Madden to NCAA, cause NCAA going to win everytime, cause Madden feels so dead anymore, Ncaa gives you so much more to do, thats why they need to a Chris at halftime n after game show like 2K5 did, Madden is same ole same ole,

Interesting, since the game has yet to come out and also many at E3, from what I was told, thought that Madden was way ahead of NCAA this year.

The build I played in May was right about when the demo was made and as far as gameplay goes I thought it was better than ncaa.

BTW Berman works for ESPN so you will not see him in the game anymore no matter which company makes the game.

Hey to me (and I dont' claim to have any special insight) there are gamers and there are madden ballers. Madden ballers are generally satisfied enough with the game to buy it every year. Gamers may or may not depending on when they like it. I'm not a spokesman for anyone but I'd be willing to bet most Madden ballers would agree that unless the game is horrible they are going to buy it and play it all year until the next one. I know I will.
I've bought every madden game since 07. Admittedly I stayed on old gen until M10 when to me the finally put out more than a barebones product. If M12 or M13 was a STEP BACK (like they cut franchise or something dumb like that) yes I'd skip it for a while and keep playing M11.

the roster updates alone are enough to keep people buying a product with NO Changes in most cases. I may be dumb but if you told me that M12 was EXACTLY the same as M11 except with the updated rosters and a few presentation changes (nothing major)...I'm buying it. I realize some people are fussier about the game but Madden addicts like myself will keep buying unless they really screw up bad.

I'm looking forward to the changes they made in the game, improvements and all but suction blocking and robo QB were never enough to make me NOT buy the game. Am I talking too much????

Why is that? EA has the ESPN license, why can't they use Berman?

Because the exclusive agreement with the NFL, if they use any real life broascasting it has to be NFL network. Why would the NFL allow Madden to push another network?!

It is important to note that even the author of that article claims he is biased towards college football in general. Not to mention he had played the final build of ncaa and the madden build he was playing was from late April, just shy of demo build and still 3 months out from retail build.
