Following the rush of activity from this last week EA Sports has released a series of screenshots from Madden 12 that focus on players who will be debuting with new teams this season. Some were signed as free agents (Nnamdi Asomugha, Sidney Rice, Matt Hasselbeck, Jason Babin, Ray Edwards, Darren Sproles, Quintin Mikell) while others
No he was being serious. Breaston and McClain aren't as big of names as the guys pictured. Nor was the news of their signings as big as Ochocinco to the Pats or McNabb to the Vikings. Screens were taken of the biggest moves.

I said bigger moves, not more important. Hasselbeck was a Seahawk for a decade, and QBed them to 6 playoff appearances. It was a big deal in Seattle for him to leave. He was the face of the team. Compared to everything that happened so far, Breaston and McClain wasn't big news because they weren't the face of their respective teams. Nnamdi was the only chance Oakland had at redeeming themselves, and he left. Ochocinco, at one point the best WR in the league and one of the most popular players in the game, left the only team he's known to go to one of the best teams in the league. Breaston was #2 or #3 on a mediocre NFC West team and McClain was the fullback of a team known strictly for defense, and they both signed with a team that is improving, but still has a reputation for being bad. I never said that them signing was less important, just on the scale of free agency, it wasn't that big.
