And now there are some people who test these games like Madden and NCAA and go into practice mode and actually do 40 times for players, and they always say that Normal presents picture-perfect accurate 40 times.
What they fail to realize is that 40 times are measured in players without pads. Players in these games should NOT be running perfect 40s, because they're completely covered in pads. That's why there's a difference between 40 speed, and "game speed".
Now, if you just simply prefer to play on Normal speed because you like it, that's fine. But if you're trying to go for full-on realism, Slow is the only way to get the actual rhythm and speed of a football game.
