Franchise as the Cowboys. 0-2. Got blown out both games. I suck.

I have zero time with the o-line, I throw so many picks. I can't stop the run, and the playaction carves me up.

I need help everywhere.

It sounds like you have a QB Controversy on your hands. With Jake playing like that maybe you can move Schaub to WR Seriously though, what are you going to do with Andre? Are you going to go with what you got and hope someone steps up or sign a FA?

Man, I love franchise this year.

Hahaha Jake is definitely going to be a serviceable backup when Matt comes back.

Our WR core is pretty thin after Andre, so, I think I might go out and sign T.O. before our week 4 game.

With the Panthers I was excited to see how the off-season was for me so I simmed the season went 6-10. Just finished game 1 of season 2, beating the Bucs 20-9. I couldn't get Cam's passing game started, only having 86 pass yards. My run game saved me as I couldn't run with D'Angelo Williams (12 carries, 53 yards), but rookie Deon Joseph and 3rd string Jonathan Stewart helped me big time. Deon is my red zone back as on 2 rushes he had 23 yards, and I put Stewart in the 4th quarter and with 4 rushes he had 88 yards, on his first rush he had 61 yards. It took me the first half to get the defense down packed. Now, I'm off to practice to see who the starter of my 3 headed dragon will be, Stewart or Williams, after stewart's play tonight. Williams will still start next week, but if I play better with Stewart I'll start him the first half, which is what I'll be doing from now on. Starting is just the first half. I plan on keeping deon joseph in the red zone.

How many mins are you guys playing? What's good for about a normal nfl game? I currently doin 8 mins a quater. Vs the viking I had 24:38 of possession time while they had 7:28 I had 47 plays on Off while they had 22. It feels really low to me

I'm playing 12 minute quarters. I've tried 13 to but, from my experience 13 results in too many plays. It normally takes me a little over an hour to complete a game. I should also note that I take my time on offense picking plays, audibling, hot routing, etc. I usually let the play clock run down to about 5-8 seconds before snapping the ball. Well, unless I'm behind, of course. Also, the CPU doesn't really use up that much of the play clock so, a User will almost always have a better TOS than the CPU.

Started a season with the Packers. I'm using 12 minute quarters on all pro, with 20 second acceleration. So far I've only played the first two preseason games, and I've won both.

LOL I can see that trades aren't very realistic still. The Cardinals wouldn't trade Campbell straight up for Grant. Nor would they trade a 2nd round pick for him. But, in Madden, they'll trade Campbell and a first! LOL!!!!

BTW I got that trade by putting Ryan Grant on the block for a DE 80+ or a 2013 1st round pick. I was surprised when I got that offer and saw that the pick was involved too.

Started a franchise as the browns. Won my 1st game vs. The Bengals. I have a real mess at WR. Massaquoi's out for the year and Robiskie out for a another week. I might have to sign a free agent receiver or trade a third or a fourth round pick for one. I plan on taking a rg and a rt in the firdt two rounds of the draft, as that seems like. My teams only big need. I did not make any big trades.

Sorry If this has been answered already, but how do I get the real rosters? Players like mcnabb and haynesworth are still on the redskins, so I can't start my chise. Is there something I download/wait for an update? Thanks

i think you have to go to Online in the menus, then download the roster from there.

I figured once I get my draft classes correct and working, Im just going to wait for the next roster update that edits in the 5 special 100 ratings, which i assume will be added it right before the start of the season next week, but hopefully sooner. Hopefully more of the bigger name free agents will be signed so I dont just grab all the 80+ rated free agents. Then Ill decide if i want to restart with the 49ers or go another route. Ill prolly change teams, to Bills, Jags, Browns, Raiders, Falcons or Redskins.

Until then, I will probably take my Road to Glory QB and start that off. I actually wouldnt mind going to the Skins or Browns in this, as I am leaning towards the Bills in franchise mode
