Does your 2nd kickoff returner ever return kicks?

The last time I played Madden, kick returns were split between the top 2 kick returners on your depth chart. But, now, it seems like every single one of them is returned by the guy who is #1 on my depth chart.

Is that just a faulty perception on my part or is that what's actually happening?

are you using return #1 or #2?

return #1 has them set up in a line where the #1 guy will always get it, which usually leads to someone using an extra blocker in the #2 spot

return #2 is the one that has both KR's down the field evenly, one to the left and one to the right.

Well if they are stacked when in formation, most of the time it will get returned by the guy the farthest back, who is #1.

I guess I must be in kick return #1. I'll have to check that when I get off the computer and go back to Madden this morning.

How do you get to where you pick return 1 or 2? The only thing that shows up on my play selection screen is the three #2 formations. I don't have any #1 formations and no onside return formation. I had them when I first bought the game but now I must have done something to make them disappear

@Reyes that happened to me when I used custom playbooks, all I had available for kickoff return was the #2 formation.

I do use a custom playbok so that must be why
