Run Defense
I am sorry In advance if this should be in a difrent are and not here if so by all means please move it.
Anyway I am having a really hard time stopping the run. I use a base 3-4 always have however in 3 total games I have had 2 people run for over 100 yards. Should I switch too a 3-4? Should I use more Bear formations? When I play defense I play a lb usually a MLB so I can play the middle and help with run however I just seem to be getting gashed for long TD runs all the time. I use the niners could just be the team or is there some good plays to help with run stopping? Worst part is there not tosses or pitches I control those just fine with the lb the ones I get killed with is right up the gut. I am thinking just going to a 4-3 base maybe eeven just a balanced playbook instead using the 3-4. Anyway anyone else seeing this more or is it just me lol.
