It's all relative in my opinion, you don't care for rap, i don't care for metal or rock, but it's not made for us, it's made for the masses. do what most everyone else does edit the menu music or turn it off. Can't say trhat I have a fav, found something i liked with all of them, actually liked some would never been exposed to otherwise, which i think is a good idea. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I like this years soundtrack. My favorites are MVP 05 and NCAA 06. This years MLB the Show was really good too.

I said the same thing in the impressions thread but...

There are a few solid songs on the soundtrack but there is a time every year where you can't stand those songs anymore (Welcome to the Jungle last year....can't even listen to it on the radio anymore). The nice thing about previous years was that you could go back to the instrumental NFL Films music. Definitely bummed that it was cut out this year.

Also, as a longtime NFL fan, and avid NFL films watcher, hearing that music makes you think of watching Walter run wild or beastly hits by Butkus....

I agree with you all that say it would be so much better with the NFL films and the option to add your custom soundtrack. I haven't had a chance to play much but I'm a huge fan of early 90's Hip Hop so I'm loving T.R.O.Y. and Award Tour and there have been other tracks I've heard that I liked. But with Madden, they put a little of everything because so many people play it. The type of music varies w the sport I guess, for example basketball games will tend to feature more hip-hop and hockey most likely will not have much with hip-hop.

Yeah, but I liked it better when there was more of an even spread of Rap and Rock and I had more rock songs to listen to after I turned off all the rap haha
