Double Overtime?

Just played a ranked game online. The other team tied it up at the end of regulation we go to OT.
I drive the ball down the field and kick a fg with no time left to win? But apparently I don't know the rules like EA does so I have to kick off. They proceed to drive right back down, and kick another fg to tie as time in to expires. It's a Tie!
Again, I clearly don't know the rules like EA does. All of a sudden I have the ball at my own 20 on 2nd and 10(Yes 2nd and 10) with a full 6 minutes on the clock.

I didn't move the ball, and he scored on his drive. I lose 22-16 in double OT.

Thanks EA for teaching me the rules of the game.

they implemented the nfl rules during playoffs if u win the ball in OT and score a FG the other team gets the ball and a chance to comeback if they fail you win but if you score a td instead of FG in OT you win.

that is the new NFL rule, but it applies to playoff only. EA must have just screwed up(again) and made it all games not just playoffs

Yeah I know the playoff rules, but in the second OT they give you the ball on the 20 with 2nd down? Regardless the game wasn't in the playoffs.

EA obviously has the OT rules messed up. Kick a FG as time expires in the first OT, even on your first possession, should have resulted in you winning.

I'm really starting to think EA doesn't test this game at all, it's been out 1 week and there's just way too many obvious issues all around the game and yet they never noticed any of them?
