CPU has an unstoppable hail mary?

I almost threw my controller through my TV.

Every time the CPU throws that ridiculous 50 yard bomb, where I have all day to get into position, the CPU ends up catching it. I have tried to swat it, I've tried to catch it, I've tried to hit stick the guy when he catches it... the reciever always ends up with it. Even when I manage to swat it. They still catch the damn thing off the tip! Double, triple, quadruple coverage, they still catch it. What the holy hell?

I'll be having a perfectly pleasant, sim type game until this ******** game starts launching these bombs on me. It's not even like the wide out burns my corner... they both stand there waiting for the ball for like 5 seconds, then it's unstoppable... Anyone else having this happen?

It happen to me one it went of some ones helmet and they caught it for a td no biggie best thing to is BLITZ THE HELL OUT OF THEM, dont give them time to set up the hail Mary

This is true story, when the CPU goes to this play, it's very hard to stop, almost impossible. My defender won't go for the swat, he'll just watch or do nothing. EA this is not good.

Yeah this has happened twice in my 49ers franchise so far, 5 games in...it's painful to watch this kind of plays

I saw this in the demo and posted my concerns about this...everyone said "wait and see" at the time. I can honestly say though that some slider adjustments have fixed this pretty well. I lowered the cpu QB acc. I also increased my Int slider resulting in better coverage and better plays on the ball. The higher the user int slider in ratio to the wr catch of the cpu, the better the coverage. Bottom line...to me....the wr catch of the cpu should always be less than the int slider of the human. I'm still getting lots of completions of passes and yards from the cpu...my guys do a better job of covering now.

So far in my most recent franchise I am in week 7 and I have not seen ONE hailmary completion. I have CPU QB Acc at 100 with Pass blocking 100 and WR Catching 100 and yet I still stop the hailmarys. They were a problem in the demo and game OUTSIDE of franchise, other than not though I have had no problems.

Chris Redman, not even Matty Ryan, chucks this pass to Roddy White who is simply just standing there at the 3 yard line between Barber and Talib, my 2 best defensive backs. Four times this happens. Four times Roddy White catches it. I mean, I know the guy is good, but seriously? His final stats for the day?

4 catches, 190 yards, 3 TD's.

When I can shut dude down all game long, besides this damn CPU money play, there is something seriously wrong.

I think the reason you're not seeing it is that your CPU accuracy is at 100, so they don't under throw the pass and the reciever doesn't have time to camp for the ball. I might go check this out myself now.

I'd turn the cpu accuracy and wr catching down a few. 5-10 notches in the slider settings.

I think your exaggeration slider is on 100

They start at their 18.

1st down, incomplete.

2nd and 10, Hayes breaks through for a sack.

3rd and 18... everyone is double covered down field with 15 seconds left... Jay Cutler throws up a prayer... oh neat... there is Roy Williams. Stupid Roy. Standing at my 30 yard line for 10 seconds waiting for the ball, surrounded by 3 DB's. This can't be happening. Oh, it is.

He out leaps all three defenders, comes down with the ball, they kick the tying field goal as time expires.

How ****ing annoying.

This is ridiculous. It happens to me a lot too.

What's doubly frustrating is that should the user attempt a deep ball, wanting the WR to go up and get it, they NEVER do.

This CPU Hail Mary money play is also confusing because, even when it's tipped the CPU still get it, and even worse, when your DBs jump, it goes through their hands and lands into the outsretched hands of the standing CPU WR (often for me the hilariously short one too, just to add insult to injury).
