using 32-team control, i just finished getting rid of all the UDFA's from each team....and next, im gunna plug in players from FA (or convert a current player) at positions that don't meet the minimum requirement at that position....now my question is, after im done with all this, i'd still need to cut players from each team down to 53 right? Meaning I can't just start playing after all the positions are filled for every team..i have everything on USER in the franchise options menu if that matters....

If this is your first season, and you have the newest roster, cutting the fake UDFAs will actually get you below 53 on each team.

nope....im using week 2's roster update and each team has more then 53 WITH all the UDFA's being cut

In the first season? Because I'm deleting all the fake UDFAs as well, and I'm not having to make any cuts. In season two, a couple teams are still over the 53 player limit after deleting the fakes, but in the first season, I'm under 53 on all teams.

yep..im in the first season (before week 1 of preseason to be exact)....all teams are at least 5 guys over the limit...some are 9-10....i'm goin thru every team, makin sure the minimum requirement is filled at each position, then cutting 3rd/4th stringers/long snappers, etc.

I think I've got it: Any chance you're playing with pre-existing injuries off? I play with them on, which frees up some space thanks to the injured reserve.

yep i turned off pre-existing injuries cause i don't want star players gettin hurt in the pre-season
