If the DBs could actually catch the ball when it's thrown to them I hate calling the perfect D for the play, and my DB/LB be in perfect position to catch the ball, and it just hits them in the hands, or face and they just drop the pass.

only bad thing is if they caught every ball thrown to them then ppl would complain there's to many int's in a game. i avg between 2-3 picks a game and thats not counting the ones that have bounce off hands etc if that case then it would be 5-6 a game and thats just not realistic.

I watch the Giants every week and I see their DB's drop balls all the time. Also I think one UNrealistic thing about Madden is how often the DB is in perfect ready position for the pick......IRL they are off balance often or tussling with the WR or on the run. It's really rare to see a back just standing there and the ball comes right to him.

The funny thing about Madden games is that defenders make spectacular leaping and one-handed interceptions all the time, and then almost always drop the catches that should be easy.
