AKA, I love Madden, bought it at release, and you should've too. But it's not too late to get your copy and enjoy it as much as I am.

You can tell others what you think I mean. But why would you attempt to tell me what I mean? I think I knew EXACTLY what I meant to say when I wrote this post. It's far and away, NOT what you're implying that I mean.

It goes without saying that I love Madden. I'm not the only one. But only a select few are so obsessed with the game that they would sign up for a message board to talk about it. Anybody reading this is counted among that group.

My feelings toward Madden aside... Let's talk about staging in other areas of our lives:

When I was in the 3rd grade, I was schooled with 3rd graders. We started at the same time. Most of us finished at the same time. Although many of us were taught the same material, we learned different material. Fast forward to 10th grade. Because of what I learned in 3rd grade on I had a basis to choose some specialized education.

Failing to get Madden early prevents players from getting the ever important '3rd' grade stuff out of the way so they can move on to some 'electives'

The longer players wait to get the game, the farther they fall behind. Some people wait years to get a new Madden. They also never learn the nuances. It stands to reason that they guy who isn't in class is likely to fail the final exam. You can't skip school everyday and still be the valedictorian.

Do I have to love school to reach this assessment? NO.

Why do I have to love Madden to reach this assessment?

I'll state the obvious using your latest analogy.

School is necessary and prepares you for life. No need to love school to want to do well.

Madden is optional. Those that don't have the game probably don't want it. I'm sure there are a few that don't have the cash or are waiting for sales and/or used copies. Either way, your post is no revelation to them.

On the same note, you buying Madden early means you like the game. You erging others to get it ASAP is promotional. Miss me with the concern for other's falling behind.

Great Post TNT! I can't understand why some people go off of some other persons opinions when deciding to purchase something. I keep hearing about people waiting for a patch before they buy it, but yet they really dont know why since they havent played it.

I don't play online, hence why I picked up the game only two weeks ago. The gaming experience would be the same for me whether I picked it up the day it came out or three months from now.
