Can't edit players after first year of franchise?

Weirdest, most frustrating thing just happened to me. I finished my first season of Franchise, went through ALL the off-season stuff, then when I got to the start of the next season and went to edit some player's ratings, it suddenly won't let me make any changes except for the "Player Bio" (name, college, etc.)

Anyone else encountered this??? I don't think I can continue my Franchise if I can't even edit player equipment, let alone ratings!!

Just go into Franchise Settings in the menu and switch the ability to edit ratings back to ON.

This is a rare bug. Happened to me. Just save. Back out to the main menu and reload. All will be well.

I posted about this like 2 weeks ago. I just went into a game, then quit back to the franchise, and everything was back to normal.
