Home Field Advantage?

It seems to me whenever I play a CPU vs. CPU game on Madden 12, the away team ALWAYS wins even if the teams are a clear mis-match. I thought it would be cool to run a Madden playoff sim to see who wins the Super Bowl. In the wildcard round, all away teams won. Coincidence? Maybe. Then comes the Divisional round and all the away teams WON AGAIN. This round included the Bengals over the Patriots and the Lions over the Packers. Is this just coincidence or do I need to change something in the settings to make it more realistic and fair? Thanks for the help.

There is a lot to be desired about simming games. For example, I really dislike that, regardless of the length of games I play, every other team plays full lengths. So while my highest tacklers are at 20 tackles, every other team has three times that and more.

I know that, when simmed, some ratings don't come into play. QBs use the old "accuracy" rating instead of the short/medium/long accuracy. Things like that. I've noticed, when I super sim in a game, the chances for big plays are much greater. I see quite a lot of returned kicks and punts when I super sim.
