    MVP Voting help

A friend and I are doing a 2 player online franchise and we are going to count your votes over the next day or so to determine who our league MVP is. Here are the numbers without giving player names to avoid any bias....

    HB1 has 347 carries, 2,107 yards and 28 rush td's. 46 receptions, 452 yards, 2 rec td's. 5 fumbles

    QB1 has 379 completions, 547 attempts, 69.3% completion rate, 53 td's, 20 int's, sacked 26 times

    TE1 has 117 catches, 1,927 yards, 19 td's, 0 fumbles

    DE1 has 42 tackles, 25 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries

Please tell us who should be MVP.

depends really, if HB1's team has a better record, i would go with him. if HB1's team is worse than TE then TE wins MVP. i am presuming they are playoff teams too....

Are you going to force the award to one of the players in one way or another (just curious)?

          TE.
But that is just off stats. If his team didn't do good then he shouldn't win. MVP should be the player who had the best season on a competing team.

            Re: MVP Voting help

I noticed the QB broke Brady's TD record. How many yards? did it break Marino? Did it break Brees real life new record?

I also notice the DE broke the single season sack record.

The MVP award is often thought of as the QB/HB of the year award. In a world where Ray Lewis, Dieon Sanders, Jerry Rice and some of the greatest players of all time never won an MVP... it is hard to take the award seriously. Also, a Co-MVP?!? ugh.

That is an insane season for all of those records to fall! They all deserve it... but I tihnk the TE and the DE are the least likely to win it.

I think the 20 interceptions thrown versus 5 fumbles give the award to the HB. When Brady threw 50 TDs, he only threw 8 picks. He also only threw 4 picks last year, which got him an MVP. NHow many does Rodgers have in real life? I think it's only 6.
