I was playing a game between the pats and dolphins (franchise mode) and Gronk got injured, a few plays later it said that he had a fractured vertebrae and it was a career ending injury. Thats the first time i have ever seen a player get a career ending injury in a madden game...

Same, Titus young suffered a fractured vertabrae and lost his career in my franchise.

Well, this one time I was playing and I facepalmed so hard at how terrible the game was that I broke my nose.

Riley Cooper got a fractured vertebrae in madden 11, never seen one in madden 12 though.
Funny thing though, Tom Brady has a Complete Achilles Tear, Im doing a dolphins franchise. Its the second year, new qb (RGIII). Anyway, the pats are 0-4, the phins are 4-0, and can pretty much wrap up the division with a win against the bills this week.

Back in the good ole days playing madden 04 on ps2... I kept restarting a fantasy draft so i could get Mike Vick.... First game, broken neck, career ending injury. I turned off the playstation and went outside...

First year of my 32 team franchise Drew Brees and Brandon Tate suffered career ending fractured vertebraes. The following year it was Brent Grimes.

I play without injuries and you should do the same and it makes the game more competitive.

I had Antonio Gates get a career-ender in 06. I had depth due to loving 2 TE sets, but it made me sad enough to delete that franchise. Without him, ROFLberger simply couldn't keep decent stats despite having Moss, Johnson, and Shockey. I was surprised because I could make the Pro Bowl with those weapons.

One time in Madden 10 Bob Sanders suffered a Fractured Vertebrae but thats the only one I've seen so far.

One game I had a player only be out for a few plays!! Wait a second, that's almost the only injury that ever happens in madden!!
