What button do i press to call a fair catch when the other team punts to me.

It is not even Y, I press it all the time and nothing...

It is Y on the 360. Maybe you aren't pressing it early enough or you haven't switched to the return man.

You need to press it and hold it for about 2 seconds after the screen turns to your returning view. Once the ball enters the screen as it comes on the down-slope of the punt it is too late.

As the other poster stated, you also need to make sure you are controlling the Punt Returner.

Just press Y with enough time. It's been Y for a while.

You also have the few times where the animation doesn't trigger. Sometimes you press Y and the fair catch isn't signaled but the play is over when you catch the ball.
