Is it just me, or is it impossible to run a west coast offense in coach mode? If I call halfback passes, screens, short attacks, quick outs, etc. the QB always stands there holding onto the ball and getting pummeled instead of doing the play I called, which is usually meant to be a 3 or 5 step drop and a quick release. I'm experiencing this with the patch installed too, which claims to fix the "too many sacks in coach mode" bug. It just seems there's no way at all for an AI-controlled QB to run short pass plays, and this problem has existed in Madden for at least 3 versions now, albeit now instead of throwing deep passes every play the human CPU-controlled QB will tuck the ball and run right into a defensive lineman. The AI CPU-controlled QB's still seem to put up their normal 7 for 30 for 200 yards passing performances since they don't tuck the ball as much. Overall, it's kinda silly.

even if you really were having these problems, there comes a point and time when you should just let it go....
