Madden 25 fantasy draft freezing

everytime I try to do a fantasy draft in a offline connected franchise it freezes a second after I click the button to start the draft? I am importing rosters because I am trying to have the most up to date rosters. Any way to work around this? I really want to play this franchise bad, but this is a game killer for me.

are you connected to WIFI? M25 use to freeze all the time for me when i was connected to the internet.

Yeah I am actually, I'll try again completely unconnected and see what happens.

even now, with M16, WIFI causes lots of freezes for me. i've now started to connect via a cable.

Still freezes hmmm. Could it be the downloaded rosters? Frustrating.

The issue lies with custom rosters you are probably using. If I remember correctly the freeze issue comes from there being too many CAPs in the roster. Sure somewhere on these forums the exact number of players/caps is listed. You'd have to go in and start deleting until you get under the threshold.
