does the game freeze at the end of every season?

so far i've played two seasons and the game has frozen after each season finale.

year 1 i lost to the giants in the playoffs and the game froze during post-game highlights.

year 2 i win the super bowl and the game freezes when i try to save the franchise before advancing to the offseason and it freezes during the file save....thank god the file wasn't lost.

my game is on hard drive downloaded from the playstation store so there can't possibly be a disc issue of any kind.

i realize EA has gone out of their way to do everything wrong with the current generation of football games but if it this happens every single season it is absurd, even by EA standards.

Don't know why the game freezes but it freezes for me when its loading or post game.

I have had freezing issues on PS3 also. Have not lost a season thankfully, have had to replay or restart about a dozen games or so.

First experienced freezing after viewing replays from the post game menu. Kinda sucks but I just don't look at em anymore, don't want to replay the game everytime.

Recently it has been freezing either at franchise pregame load up or at some point during the first half. No problems if I get to 3rd quarter or beyond?

Don't know if this will help in your case but midway through last season I think I discovered the cause of my freezing issues.
I create offensive and defensive gameplans for user and cpu teams using the two controller method to set up cpu gameplans pre game. At one point I had 36 custom gameplans saved to the hardrive. Played a game without a custom gameplan for cpu and had no freeze up? Seems the gameplans where causing my problem so I deleted all custom gameplans except for my teams and a Pats 43 base D.
Problem solved, I still make custom cpu gameplans before each franchise game but I now delete them after every game. PITA

I think there is some kind of programing conflict between EA's code and Sony's HDD? No other games give me any problems whatsoever and I am nowhere near max capacity.
Definately a QC issue that I hope will not return IN 13.

i have had the game freeze a couple of times but its always in the 4th qt with 6:00 mins to go its dont it atleast once ever other season.
