NCAA Football 12 necessary to import draft classes into Madden NFL 12?

So yeah, as the title suggests, is it necessary? I got the draft class off the internet but when I'm done with pre-season in Madden, it doesn't ask me if I want to import the NCAA draft class. Is there anything I'm doing wrong or can I just not use the draft class if I don't have a copy of NCAA?

Any help is appreciated.

only NTSC copies allow you to import classes iirc.

Aha. Makes sense since NCAA 12 is NTSC only. Thanks for your help.
