Madden 13 difficulty levels?

    Madden 13 difficulty levels?


    I'm still waiting on answers about the levels because I want all pro to be very realistic and challenging especially on all madden I hope they make the lower levels challenging like nba 2k series.

    I hear ya man. I don't know what it is with Madden, but year 1 is always a reasonable struggle. When I get to year two I am totally unstoppable, even if my team hasn't improved.

      This is a good topic. I have always hated how Madden has the difficulty levels set up. When setting the game to higher or lower difficulty levels all pro or all madden, etc the games A.I. should improve and play smarter or not as smart without the user and A.I. sliders automatically moved up or down. Hate to bring up 2K or other sports game but Madden needs to really set up there slider system and game difficulty system like the others. I always hated when putting the game on All Madden that my user sliders would go down, to me it felt like the game A.I. wasn't playing smarter or harder, it just meant that my teams players were not playing as good because of the sliders.

        yea i agree.. i always have to adjust to the way i play.. and i got 12 to run smooth for me , but i still was having to low score of games sometimes. so hopefully the defaut settings are good enough not to have to tweak it alot

          I agree with you. All pro should be more balance between the Human user and the AI. Instead of one side or another score large amounts of points every game. I'm really hoping with the new RTP in this year the game on All pro will be more balance. But who knows until we get actual footage of gameplay.

            I agree no matter what level you play you can go down the field for an entire season with the same 3 plays they never learn what your doing. they really need the online difficulty to be hard too. All Madden online is closer to offline All Pro. That more than anything is killing the series in my opinion.

              Yeah that is what I always hear. Some guys be basing there opinion on All-Madden being easy because of how terrible it is online.. They really need to add sliders for online play(Hopefully they did).

              IMO All-Pro will never be difficult.. It's tuned for the Casual gamers to enjoy the game.. They will never make that level challenging. Hardcore gamers like myself will never be able to play on All-Pro and sliders will always be needed no matter what because everyone's skill level is different. The default settings out the box might turn out to be perfect for some gamers but not to others..

                they need 1 difficulty level that combines SIM and BEAST MODE .... Im so serious

                but playin default All-Madden is hard as S*** unless u use sliders

                  Just give me a level where the CPU plays as smart as it can, without any BS, and within the confines of its player ratings. That's all I ask.

                    So the search for the perfect HUM v HUM slider set will definitely be under way August 28th. I am so glad about this and can't wait to see what you slider gurus come up with.

                    All you guys need to get together in a webcam conference and has out a "simulation" slider set.

                      What they need to do is get rid of levels all together and create some of kind of SIM SYSTEM/CODE where ratings play a major factor based on teams and players.

                      IMO increasing the CPU up to the highest level doesn't fix problems.

                      Your just creating more problems and having bad/avg players play above their true assigned ratings that EA developed.

                      I would like to see a level where if my OT is a scrub and the CPU has a big time pass rusher at DE or OLB he should be programmed to win that matchup most of the game.

                      If my QB simply isn't very good throwing deep then i should expect to see off target throws no matter what i do behind the sticks because his ratings need to matter more.

                      I like how NBA 2k has developed a SIM mode where shooting poercentages are kinda tied into the ratings and you can choose to only have your players function off those ratings....

                      Screw the HARDCORE crap i want realism on the field and until EA rolls up their sleeves and actually program the game to play more towards that direction a level is just that IMO a level that doesn't really capture true realism it just either handicaps certain things by the human or goes to extreme boost for the CPU even if players are scrubs.

                      I think this can accomplished if EA makes it a priority to use theentire range of ratings from 0-100.....

                      Not all QB's need to have 70+ accuarcy....what is wrong with a guy trying to complete passes with a QB that has 60 accuarcy?

                      You want guys like Brady and Manning to have 90+ accuarcy fine why does below avg starters need to be around 70 accuarcy?

                      If a guy doesn't break many tackles what is wrong with a RB having a truck rating of 10 and strength rating of 40?

                      That way you know he's going to go down no matter what the USER does behind sticks when controlling him.

                      That is what i call HARDCORE GAMEPLAY not Moving a level up 2-3 notches that basically render ratings USELESS and code the AI to win at all cost even if doesn't refelct their assigned ratings.

                      Here we are in Madden 13 and EA has yet to develope a gameplay AI system that makes these things possible to play out on the field.

                        Agreed, I am tired of ratings not mattering in this game - All-Pro means I go 19-0 while sending 19 of 22 starters to the Pro Bowl, and probably break all time passing records with Alex Smith; All-Madden means I have a historically atrocious defense despite using the 49ers, Patrick Willis will get trucked by 2nd string scat backs, and it doesn't matter if I wheel and deal to bring in Revis and Asomugha, AI QB's are going to light me up all game every game.

                        And before someone says "sliders", I've tried sliders, countless different slider sets, and nothing works for me.

                          they have??? where did you find this info? Not doubting you, just wondering because me and 4 of my loyal friends always play NCAA online dynasty and we always have to tune the sliders to make it challenging. We are finally making the jump to Madden this year and If we cant adjust sliders in madden this year its going to be a big letdown for us.

                              Its definitly there for connected careers for the commish to adjust. Look at the 24th video down in the official "E3 video thread". The one with josh looman going throught the menu at connected career. Pause the video at 3:36 and you will see.
