This announcement really made me stop and look at all the things we still don't have with Madden that we had last generation. Custom camera's,stadium music, and celebrations were some of them. Hard to believe that other then online features(wasn't popular back then) last generation had more features in their game. This is EA's 8th xbox 360 release!
Nope, the SimStandard has nothing but praise. They mention nothing about the missing features. To be fair though, they really only care about on the field action so they probably don't even care about Connected Careers, or anything unrelated to gameplay.

I'm really not understanding this- Offline franchise is exactly the same, its just called CCM now. There is no difference, they could have left "Offline franchise" outside of CCM and it still wouldn't have changed a thing in terms of the new features and removal of some.

Exactly this! We know at least the PS3 has the disc space for both modes, right? A free update would even be accepted on release day if needed!!

Other sports games by other game makers will just add a new feature on top of the feature you are used to. That way it doesn't make people upset who loved the previous feature. With EA, it is always like this. They shuffle their features around and that is their thinking on it. I don't understand it at all

I am pretty upset right now. If I had a choice of another football game, I wouldn't say a word about this and just move to the other forum. I don't have a choice. EA promised back in 2005 that gamers wouldn't be upset with the exclusive license because how awesome their game was going to be. Then we got Madden 2006 on the 360 and ever since then you know the rest of the story.

Come on EA. Enough is enough with the loss of new and old features!

No, you have it all wrong. I am wondering if custom sliders can be used in offline CC or if anybody has any news on this.

Will the custom slider feature be in CC or missing along with player edits?

2K5? Their editing feature wasn't something to be proud of -- at least not in their franchise mode. Sure, you could edit rookie ratings. But the veteran players couldn't be touched.

I remember using Finn's editor from 08-09; I'd go to my mom's house b/c the laptop I had at home was incompatible w/ the editor. I didn't live far from my folks, but far enough that it was out the way. Anyway, I recall getting home after downloading a franchise file and after booting up, I'd realize that I didn't fix Jason Witten's arm sleeves, or I didn't give Marion Barber his dreads. It couldn't be fixed without going back to my mom's and adjusting the file, and then going back home only to realize another player slipped through the cracks.

All said, I loved franchise in 2K5. Maybe that's a dose of reality that I need. I hate going backwards and not having editing capabilities in M13, but franchise can still be enjoyed. Meh...

That's not true. They weren't invited to CD b/c they offer 'nothing but praise.'

That's said about everybody that comes back from CD. Everybody.

and btw, I was referring to their reaction to Madden 13 gameplay, not previous editions.
