Not sure how many people here have played Minecraft, but recently there was a bit of a controversy surrounding the downloadable xbox 360 version that came out a bit ago.
Many bought the game for the sole purpose of playing it splitscreen, only to find out that the feature was unavailable if you had a standard definition tv. The problem was that nowhere did it say that splitscreen only worked on high def tvs. An uproar ensued that resulted in Microsoft eventually offering full refunds to those who bought the game only for that feature and were unable to use it.
My question is, by using this principle, could a similar outcome be possible when many people who aren't following Madden closely purchase the game solely for multiplayer offline franchises (either competitive or co-op), only to find out that it has been completely removed from the game?
Comments? Thoughts? Or am I completely talking out of my ***?
