we in Madden's community keep hoping for EA to "get it right" year in, year out, you see us hope that this is the year we get an awesome game but every year are let down so "wait til next year" syndrome..
but recently EA's stock has plummeted.. as in severely.. nosedive abandon ship type stuff
failed games, STIGMA on the EA brand itself (gamers simply will not touch it because it's EA the worst company in the world) and I am beginning to wonder
is Madden 13 EA's Last Chance? the stock will be in single digits soon, this is bigtime failure happening right now massive people don't want a part of EA
personally speaking, in the past 15 years I can probably count the amount of times I've supported EA with my money... Madden 10 and 11
think bout it.. the stigma/stain/reputation of EA is horrendous to the point that gamers like me will never, EVER touch an EA product
Madden is different because we all love Football.. but every year it's becoming clearer for whatever reason cop or pass? PASS
my time spent with madden dwindles every year.. Madden 12 was the worst with the FA mess the non-stop rains butchered franchise etc etc I think I held on to the game for 2 days before sending it back
between EA's stigma, their financial stock dying .. makes me wonder, is Madden 13 EA's last true chance of producing a quality game? I myself have it on my gamefly queue but every year my hands-on time spent with Madden simply dwindles.. I'll give it another shot, as always, a yearly ritual.. but I honestly do wonder, is this EA's last chance?
Thoughts?
