did EA fix the replays from only showing half play?

just curious havent seen anything meantioned about this? i hate having a great play only to to make a replay and it starts with player already halfway threw the play.... also theres a glitch where it says no replay available? or if shows same play back to back when its 2 different plays.

I remember seeing a blog from the art developer that the replay issues were fixed and they added new replay camera's with multiple angles to track the play. Hope this helps a little. It was in the Presentation blog when they mentioned the new motion blur in replays as well.

well thats good if they are i havent really read the blogs that was just another thing that bug me about the replays.

Yes nice question. This is important, and botherd me also. Seeing what was posted here it sounds like they corrected it. can't wait to see for myself

I think they may have because in the NCAA 13 the replays seem to always start from the beginning of the play, not in the middle like they used to. I particularly remember an interception I threw with a rather long run back without scoring and I was waiting to see if the replay would start from the snap or after the INT like in the past. In that instance it did indeed start from the snap and play the entire replay correctly.

Hope that carries over into the retail for M13, especially online. Also, I wonder if that somehow makes it possible to actually see challenged plays, replayed online.

Besides the half play replays how about those zoomed in replays that both Madden and NCAA have used for years and years! I just hate them so much!

Has anyone heard if Madden 13 will have new replay cameras that are more like the kind of replays you would see on FOX,CBS and NBC NFL Broadcasts?

EA Sports needs to remove all or most of thoese zoomed in replays!

Hopefully they've fixed it. But hopefully they've completely revamped it. Now with Phil and Jim in the booth, it would be so much better if replays were shown with the broadcast camera, or a camera angle that would actually be used in broadcast to show the replays. Great way to add to the tv presentation element, is to make replays look more like you're watching the game on tv. Rather than up close views that are well... way to up close most of the time. Id love to see a more TV style replay. Enough of the replays being cut off, and the playcall screen coming up overtop of them while they're still rolling. Make it a tv style replay, that you have the option to turn off and skip.

This was one of the most frustrating things about Madden. I love going back and watching replays... especially in league games. Sharing them with the community.

Sucks when a great play gets cut off halfway through. Glad to hear that it sounds like they worked on it.

According to the presentation blog, they've re-worked their replay camera angles, at least to some extent (added wire cameras). I think they touched on that in more detail during the webcast but I can't remember any of the specifics.

I haven't personally seen anything stated about whether or not longer plays will contain the full replay or not. I would think that would just be a matter of them allocating more memory towards replay saves but who knows. Maybe a gamechanger can give a definitive answer.
