Madden 2013 Difficulty
I'm new to Madden. What difficulty do most people play on? I'm going to start connected careers with some buddies and want to make it realistic and hard for anyone to dominate the CPU.Tags: None -

Re: Madden 2013 Difficulty
In my opinion, Jarrod had the best sliders for Madden 12. I still use his version with personal tweaks of mine.
It's challenging but still realistic. If your new to Madden, I'd play on All-Pro and buy the book from GameStop. I never thought they were worth $20 but I bought the one for Madden 13 when I Pre-Ordered it and it shows you how to efficiently run plays and read the defense. I find it pretty interesting.Comment

Re: Madden 2013 Difficulty
I have really been struggling with this to be honest. I have never been one that is really good at All-Madden or Heisman for NCAA. I always hated the way the CPU plays. I have not played Madden in 2 years but find myself really excited again for it. More than NCAA and for me this is a rarity.
I do not want to get caught in slider hell where the first month is nothing but testing sliders. It burns me out but I really have no idea where to start.Comment

If the league is all USER controlled then I say go with All Madden. If not then go with All Pro.Fan of... Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, and Detroit Pistons

What if the person is not in any leagues and just a single player franchise? What is a good starting point? All-Pro I would assume?Comment

New to madden? Rookie practically forces you to win or at least it used to. Haven't played in so long. I'd go with Pro until you've mastered it and then move up.Student of the game. #Fundamentals

Re: Madden 2013 Difficulty
I still don't know what to do. I have been playing NCAA for years and am used to Heisman being crap as far as the CPU is concerned. It just plays cheap.
How is madden usually with All-Madden levels? Does the CPU play pretty cheap? I ask because i have not played madden for a couple years and even then never really played on All-MaddenComment

Re: Madden 2013 Difficulty
He has detailed sliders and tiers for All-Pro and All-Madden.
Regarding cheap play, I find it almost impossible to lose to the CPU on any difficulty. If you play carefully the CPU should never feel cheap or unfair.Comment

Re: Madden 2013 Difficulty
No I have some lower level All-Madden sliders. I don't mess around with All-Pro.. It's just TOO easy..Comment

Re: Madden 2013 Difficulty
thanks for all the tips.
Jarodd, Will the sliders you are showing for M12 still work or do you have a new set incoming?Comment

Re: Madden 2013 Difficulty
No I'm going to have a new set incoming but it will provide the same intensity.. There was just some areas on default All-Madden like drop passes and INTs that made the game unplayable but it will be fixed with my sliders.. I have some sliders for the Demo if you want to check them out so you can get a feel for how my sliders operate... If you read my thread you saw that I have 4 sets for guys to choose from.. I'll be doing that again..Comment
