HUGE man coverage bug (Video proof)

This is the type of thing that needs to be patched more than some of the other stuff people are asking for.. Will test more to see if i find it..


I have played over 100 games and have either missed or haven't seen it.. This seems like a tuner issue that shouldn't take long

You don't press y this year, you have to hold y or swat and you do it in the cursor.

Its totally different than last year.

'in the cursor'?... as in where the ball is located with that little circle on the ground? That is news to me, but I will give it a shot.

Outside of that, I usually take control with B, let the player run the route on his own and then press (and hold) Y to catch it as the ball is getting closer. (Often to no avail)

It's still not working. That's what I'm doing. I'm holding Y right in the Circle and my defender just stands there, the WR's catches it and takes off. Also, defenders playing over the top in cover 6 if they do not see a threat on their side, should respond to the football. They are not doing it. They just drop to a spot and stand there and freeze.

If a WR becomes a threat they gotta take him and then they shouldn't be able to respond to a pass on the other side of the field, but if they are not occupied why are they just standing around?

Off topic: NCAA 13 has the same issue of LB/Y being unresponsive. It stinks on offense too since it makes pitching the ball on option plays near impossible.

On topic: I've spent the last 4 hours trying every conceivable slider & difficulty setting. I am confident that there is nothing we can do to fix the "run commit" bug. It took us less than 48 hours to discover this yet EA never caught it. Imagine how much better EA's football games would be if they gave us a beta so we could be QA testers.

I would argue it is a bug. I've seen too many other coverage issues.
