Whats the advantage to doing CCM online? Just alone, what bugs are not there online thats there offline?

For sure. From what I can tell they are shooting for that date, which would mean principal work on the patch should be wrapping up by the end of the week or so. That's speculation on my part, though.

According to Josh Looman via twitter, there will be tuning updates pre-patch that are only able to be delivered to people who are in online CCMs.

And you get access to the online site, which allows you to manage your team online at maddencareer.com.

Can someone explain to me the different between tuning updates and patches? I see the two used what seems like almost interchangeably but don't really get the difference.

to me an update is an update and I just hit yes when it prompts for a download. What kind of things can be included in a "tuning update" as opposed to a "patch"?

I'd assume patch is more extensive? Are we to expect that a few of the bugs/glitches and CCM issues will go away with the "tuning update" being applied to CCM pre-patch?

Tuning updates are much smaller adjustments in code that EA is able to push over their game servers outside of Microsoft and Sony's certification process, while patches are much larger and are officially certified by MS and Sony.

It is possible that some of the CCM issues will be alleviated by tuning updates in online CCM, even before the proper patch comes out.

Is there any way to convert an existing offline CCM to an online one, to be able to advantage of the better patching?
