Well, technically it makes sense. Otherwise it would be called "Soundtracks".
I'd rather be rich than stupid.

I think it was the saMe person who decided it would be a good idea to use the same commentary over and over again.

So when its year 2027 of your ccm you can still hear phil and jim talk about how the team fired raheem morris last year and how good freeman can be even though he hasnt been on your team in 10 years.

Then when someone gets hurt you can hear its an upper body injury

The game is so damn repetitive

A lot of money they saved from crappy artists or songs that get old after 1 month, went to actually improving the game with the money it would have cost for them.

Since it's 2012 I have a few other options than a makeshift soundtrack of a relevant artist combined with 30 no named artists that they try to market.

I normally use my laptop or bluetooth from my phone.

I dont know whos idea it was,,,But I liked the idea.Music these days are just degrading. And I sure wouldnt let my kids have played them unless I had already turned the songs to OFF. Seriously Shut the **** up(get up) by Korn is not a very good choice for a game rated E.

I just wish the music didn't sound so similar to NCAA's music. It almost sounds exactly like the main theme from NCAA 13.

this. Methinks it is no coincidence that they also increased the size of the development team.

I remember when the madden soundtrack actually had some hidden gems in it.

I usually play in the morning so I have ESPN on listening to Mike & Mike or Scott VanPelt while I play. So when I do turn on the commentary it still kinda sounds fresh.

i dont know but i like the commentary.Simms and nance are great together. its still not the quality of NBA2K12 or anything. but it is MUCH improved. as far as being repetative, what sports commentary isnt repetetive after awhile? we have to remember its year ONE of this team and hopefully they can just build on to the library they have every year from here on. the music is fine in my book those soundtracks get really old and drilled into my head too much. i dont buy this game for the friggin soundtracks that for sure

At least 20 of my songs on Itunes are songs I found on past Maddens.

It's another reason why 2k basketball is higher quality. Yeah, it's rap, but there are always a few gems from other genres in there.

I think maybe 2k and the Show are the only sports games that have actual music anymore. Maybe that's a result of their success and the money they make.

I've always been an NFL purist, and the year they had NFL films music in the game was the best... I think it was the year the game had McNabb on the cover .
