Player CCM

I was wondering if when you retire from doing a player CCM if you can go into coaching after that with that player? Has anyone tried simming that far?

You can't do a 1 to 1. So for instance, retire your player and turn that player with all their history and stats into a coach.

You can create a player, play through their career and then retire them. Then go make a coach in the same CC save and name them the same/use the same gameface/make them look somewhat similar and pretend that they're the same person.

Ahh. Well that sucks. I was hoping to take a player and make them a great coach. Thanks for the info.

I don't see how just re-creating the coach would be much different. Stats from his playing days shouldn't make any difference in presentation.

But still, not being able to draft your NCAA Superstar blows. Would've been epic to play a guy from HS>NCAA>NFL>Coach. That's like half his lifespan lol

It's different because recreating him as a coach would be the current rosters instead of the rosters from my retirement time.

Also it would give some back story to it rather than here is this random guy who is now the head coach of our professional football team.

When you retire as a player and switch to coaching, everything stays current. The rosters will be the same as when you retired.

Fully fluid...you can change between player and coach every season for all 30 years if you like the game doesnt end until the 30 year limit. You dont have to start a new game at all
