Can't run with the Eagle

My Online CCM I am the Eagles and I can not run with McCoy. I'm not sure what it is. Last game I was 15 carries for 30 yards.

In my offline franchise I can run it all day with Danny Woodhead and he is an 80.

Everyone on my o-line is an 80+ except my center.

Any suggestions

Rusty, I suggest you visit the slider section. There may be some sets suitable for your play style. The slider makers or working hard this year and there are a good many sets to choose from. The game is much improved in other aspects as well with sliders.

This is for our online franchise so the sliders are set pretty much at 50 and All-Pro.

I don't mind adjusting my play style. I feel like I am doing something fundamentally wrong.

With McCoy being so fast I turn off auto-sprint so I can hit the holes better. With auto sprint it seems like I come up on the hole too fast. I would try that and then abut sprint as you would if you were running IRL.

Yea Rusty something is not correct on your behalf. With McCoy you should be alright running the ball.

I use the Giants on both all madden and allpro and I have a nice amount of rushing yards.

What plays do you pick and what is your routine while running the ball?

I agree with the other posters. Be sure that your offensive line can run block of course, and try adjusting the run plays you call. For me, I like to run more stretch and toss plays with guys like Shady.

McCoy is a shifty back.
You need to focus on plays that give the linemen the edge against the linebackers.

I.E. pay attention to the play you have called and if the linebackers have a straight line to you, audible to something else. With shifty/speed backs you're looking for plays where the linebackers have to change their angle of pursuit atleast once..

and for the love of god...it's the eagles...YOU will learn to love your running draw plays, otherwise you will not survive.

Audibles? Sounds like it might be too confusing for him to start. I suggest just trying to follow your blockers.

I'd say play the passing game for a quarter or two and to get the defense to play cover 2/3 or even deep zone then start your running game. It could be the oppoenents you're facing, their defensive line could easily overpower your offensive line. In that case just so with outside handoffs and call for your linesman to block left or right.

The running game can be easy if you're able to read the defense.
