Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but in my offline CCM I am seeing injuries that are lasting 20-28 weeks. Injuries such as Torn Pectorial, or Broken Ankle. I get these can be serious injuries, but that seems a bit ridiculous considering a player can rupture his disk and be back in 5 weeks in the same CCM. Is this a glitch? Anyone else seeing this?

I just want to see a qb get injured. Hasn't happened once in 3 years.

Instead of season ending injuries it is more exact by saying so and so is injured for twenty some weeks. I have not tested this but I believe they did this so that if a player has a big injury near the end of the season they could still be injured the next season which is realistic.
Not sure how well all the injury lengths fit the injury types.Comment

Thanks bera. I agree that is the concept as well, and I like that. However, I wonder if they player really cannot play for 20 months. I mean when you think about it, that is over a year, in some cases nearly 2 years. Just seems a bit too long. If they tear their ACL, its generally a year to 14 months before they are 100%, or back to what is there new 100%.Comment

Those are actually pretty accurate times. Broken ankle is a bit long but a torn muscle takes a long time to heal.
Also, ruptured disc is not a very serious injury. Most people don't even know they have one and they usually dont need surgery.
I just wish they had more common injures week to week.Comment

In my Online CCM it's been really hard to keep track of injuries
Anytime a player gets injured, their injury will go away when I sim the week typically.
We are still in season 1 and there have been some injuries that were over 20 weeks and the players are already back on the field.

This has been extremely frustrating. It's really the only part of the game other than zoom cam not being in ccm that I really have an issue with. I can't figure out what is causing it either because I am in week 11 and have had injuries reset twice on me when they had worked fine for the other 9 weeks. This is an online franchise so I thought they had resolved this issue but obviously not. Hopefully its addressed in the patch on Tuesday.Comment

I believe injuries reset when someone creates a new coach. In our online career, we boot people if they create a new coach. It seems like that is the cause. I am not positive, but I believe that is the problem.Comment

That may be one, but I am running a solo online so there is something else that does it as well. Just typing that made me think. They may have reset when I progressed that player because I have been progressing my players ever 4 weeks. I will try to progress the next player that gets any length of an injury and see if that causes it to reset.Comment

well whether its creating a new coach or progressing players, its not reasonable to ask people not to progress players or not to change coaches so EA just has 2 fix it. I think until then I will turn injuries off altogether because its gotten too frustrating to explain myself and its not fair that some injuries stick and others don'tComment
