Re: Onside kick recovery is terrible
I don't think that means onside kick recovery is terrible. It means you played against an a**hole. -
Re: Onside kick recovery is terrible
I wish the onside had a predetermined trajectory and the more power simply means the higher the bounce. As of now, you can just rocket the ball into a guy and have it sit between his legs while he plays butter fingers with it.Comment

Re: Onside kick recovery is terrible
Another thing I don't like is getting stuck with the hands team out there. I don't think the game lets you know if the opponent has chosen onsides, but if you don't audible quick during an obvious onsides situation, you can just pooch it away from the deep man and get the ball back in great field position. Similar to last year when you could do a normal formation and surprise onside to an empty middle of the field.Comment

I'm not surprised, there are other issues with this game. I experienced an unusual event playing CPU in offline CCM during preseason week 2 using the Dolphins. The CPU (Panthers) had a 4th and 5 with 2:45 left in 4th quarter (MIA 21 - CAR 31) at the 39 yard line he/she tries to attempt a 56 yard FG, I selected regular block FG. As I took my up back defender and sent him back towards the goal line anticipating a short miss; the ball hit my player and the ref waved FG no good. My player at this point had the ball in his possession and then dropped the ball. This is when the shocking event occurs. By rule possession goes to the Dolphins (Me) and I should have the ball spotted where the kick occurred (39 yard line + 7 yards from line of scrimmage = 46 yard line). Well, to my surprise the CPU retained possession and had a reset in downs 1st & 10 from the 46. I lost he game as he ran out the clock pounding the rock on the ground leaving with no time outs. THIS GAME FOR ALL THE HYPE AND MONEY, it's a DAM SHAME!!!Comment

Re: Onside kick recovery is terrible
yeah, im not happy bout this either. i played an online game, (i rarely play online) and someone recovered 6 onside kicks. thats all he did. guess i gotta play better defense so they dont score. it sucks though, because i played decent redzone defense so he would kick a FG as soon as he got in range because he would kick onside and get it back.Comment

Re: Onside kick recovery is terrible
Just lost a game due to an onside kick recovered, I think its best you just stay in normal, seeing how EA has it all backwards this year.Comment
