Do position boosts carry over?

I purchased a WR and CB boost package
curious if it only lasts for this season or if it will last for the entire online CCM

He may have thought you were talking about the" boosts" you can but with real money. Like in former versions you could buy a thing to keep a player from retiring

u must only play online head to head or something. good question OP...i wanna know too? im gonna go out on a limb and say based on the xp cost of around 15k...it prolly last until u retire. esp cuz u gotta do each position. im in wk2 of reg season in one of my ccm and i only got like 5k xp for my coach so far. at this rate i may be able to do like 3-4 postions per season unless the xp really ramps up when i start racking up some wins and doing things in game to hit milestones or wkly goals.

I'm going to make a test online CCM tonight and advance to season 2 and see if the boosts stick.

I feel like they won't stick beyond 1 season because it seems like you would run out of boosts to purchase by season 3-4, and the CCms are supposed to last up to 30 seasons.

the real big lumps come from breaking a record or hitting your 'hard' seasonal goal...year one with the lions I got a 20k payout for making the playoffs. I think winning the superbowl is worth 25k too

I'm 99% sure I remember hearing they stay with you throughout your career. I've moved to a different team within the same CCM and can't "purchase" the same boosts so that's a pretty telling sign IMO.

It's not DLC he paid for. It's the packages available to coaches in CCM. You buy them with XP, it's how you progress as a coach.

yea thats what i figured but still thats only so much xp when it cost 15000 per position. like with ur example thats like 45000 so that covers my QB HB and FB. still gotta do WR, TE, T, G, C, DE, DT, cb, fs, ss, k, p...even tho the k and p are dirt cheap. thats another 150,000 xp not including k and p. but those are cheap so prolly like a 155,000 total to get all positions. thats gonna take a few seasons to accomplish. im thinking 3-4 which imho isnt bad.

To add on to that: I did a test for the retirement packages (generally same price as Free Agent and XP Boost packages) and I found out that it isn't just a one time buy. You can buy the retirement package for a specific position multiple times (not sure how many) and the more that you buy, the less likely it becomes that a player at that position retires. For example, if the retirement package costs 10k for a WR and I but it 3 times then that costs me 30k XP (multiply it by 21 different postions and thats over 600k XP points).

Personally, I don't think that it is possible to buy every coach package/boost unless you play for a long, long time (probs at least 20-25 years), win the superbowl many times, and complete your weekly goals every week.
