    user d-line interaction

I usually play as weakest link in secondary but went into practice mode for around 2 hrs just if I could get pressure with d-line.

I was wondering if the left or right on r stick was for the swim move while up was to disengage and down was to bull rush. not exactly sure how you activate the three traits aka spin, swim, bull rush. I tried doing a 360 on both analog sticks but no prevail hoping that was the way you activate spin move.

I use the Lions and Giants to try it out I'm do some more testing with other elite d-lines/players another day.

My time with Detroit I couldn't get anything with KVB as far as pass rush and getting off block.
Avril I was able to put hits on stafford around 45% the rest of time I would either get pancaked or soon as I got close to stafford he threw the ball quick. I think I got 1 sack with him.
Suh I was able to get to qb often and get sacks or at least more hits than Avril.
    Same thing for Williams

If u pay attention and read the how the online man is in stance you can go to opposite direction with swim move of rusher is good and be in qb face quickly.

kVB lacks finess rush move so using either left or right on right stick didn't help shed blocks. His shed block is like 75 also I realize his consistently is 1 star decreasing his chance of consistent pass rush.

Avril shed block was around 77 but he also had 1 star in consistent. He had swim and spin trait but it was ineffective most of time.

Suh and Williams both have 3 star consistent guess made it much easier to shed block and get pressure. Suh shed block is around 94 while Williams is 84+ I think. Suh has all traits with swim, spin, bull rush moves Williams only has bull rush.

With the giants I wasn't able to get any kind of pass rush with JpP. Even though he has better blk shed and finess moves than Tuck. I maybe got a small hand ful of hurries or hits on qb

playing as tuck I was able to get pressure or sacks a good no matter of I lined right over tackle or kept him on outside of tackle. I was able to get to string around 10 plays back to back with sacks. Pressing either left or right on both analog sticks at same time (finess moves) depend on where I lined up determine which side I went to.

Not sure wat JpP and Tuck traits are and how much consistent Stars they have forgot to chk before turned off Xbox

For both teams I played zone and man plays while In practice mode to give CPU some time to throw ball with no blitzes only front four.

Hopefully we can get some more users to try to figure out how to use 3 pass rush traits along with how effective is shed block on right analog. What does each direction does if pushed in direction.

How does consistent play into pass rush abilities being unlocked/useable to shed blocks when humans are controlling them.

99.9 time I use a secondary player wether its blitzing or playing man/zone so online interactions don't really bother me as much as others who control them. I do notice the weak line play but since I let CPU vs CPU in trenches I can overlook bad interactions.

What side do y'all have most success pass rushing from. Dt,le,re

I want to know why I was able to dominate in practice mode with Tuck but sucked horrible with JPP.

I played against the teams original offense so Detroit va Detroit and Giants at vs giants

Someone who is better at it than I will no doubt come along and provide more detail, but the general rule of thumb is: left/right right stick are swim/finesse moves. Down on the right stick is a bull rush. You disengage with the left stick by either letting go of the stick or moving it to the outside of a defender (from 6 o'clock say to a 9 or a 3). We've had a few threads talking about how EA's lack of description/tutorials for this system is problematic.

Practice really does make perfect through. I've almost completely stopped using the right stick simply because it seems so unpredictable. Half the time I use it (either with Marcell Dareus or Kyle Williams) my player will fall flat on his face and open up a gigantic hole. If I stick mostly to left stick and sprint, I can actually get good penetration (that's what she said?).

One thing to keep in mind is that you have to work in conjunction with the play, and mix up your blitzes. Like you, I just went into practice mode and tried to get penetration or to fill the holes on a run. Even better practice - go into a game with 15 minute quarters (I do by default anyways, but I digress...) so you have plenty of time to play defense and really see what works/doesn't against the same set of o-lineman in a game environment. But this really helped when it came to schemes. If you follow the play as written, and change up who/when people blitz, or which side they crash, etc. you start to see the o-line get a.) tired and b.) open up holes for you to run through and get the QB.

Still, I think 75% of my sacks are coverage sacks. I rarely have a scenario where my blitz is just so overwhelming that I can get to the QB, or an o-lineman made a mistake and my teammates blew by him. I'd like to think that with really skilled d-lineman, there'd be a little more opportunity to get past weaker o-linemen.

I'm check it out and do a 15 min qt to try it out some more. Like I said it don't really bother me since I don't user the d line but it would be nice to know how to shed blocks properly especially when my DBS need to free themselves to go make tackle/play on ball.

I wonder how the spin move trait is started.

If anybody who has twitter ask any of the ea guys about this. I don't have twitter so I can't myself

I'm pretty sure that most of the finesse moves are contextual. So you'll have to have someone high enough to perform the move, and then have the right situation arise. On an edge rush I took over Mario Williams, and was having a hard time getting around the defender, so I flicked the opposite direction with the right stick and performed the spin move. That's the only time so far I've been able to get it to work.
