I almost never practice and I don't feel like I"m missing out on anything as a result. Sure, there's missed XP opportunities for your coach but if you hit your season goals, that'll come anyway.
Ever since I started progressing my players manually, I've noticed how much more XP you get from games than from practice anyway. Unless I have a rookie I want to get some XP to, I usually just sim it myself.
I hardly ever use practice and when i do i either do the offense or defense option because its easy and alot of points.
Do you know if players progress from practice?
I started a ccm with coughlin yesterday( I had one where I played all the preseason games, but I restarted because of the patch) so I'm just doing the easy win practice, the coach gets 1800 XP and every player gets 1500 XP, and you only have to play 3 5 min. quarters and with acc. clock on it goes quick.

I do this one too. If you sim practice how many pts u usually get
I just do the cake walk, you're up 16 with 3 minutes left in the third. Usually an easy defensive series and then a clock killing drive and it's over. 1100xp for it.
I use pretty much use it as a way to work on my plays and get in rhythm before my game it also let's me work on plays I normally don't use so I can try and put in my game plan. I like the score being tied in the third quarter mode its not too long and its a good game situation tool.
It's stupid to spend $65 to cheat...play with honor but have fun..
I started a RB CCM last night to just mess around. Is there any reason NOT to be doing the 1800xp 'easy' practice everytime? There doesn't really seem to be a tangible benefit to doing some of the other practices (maybe it changes down the line) other than perhaps some of them take less time. I already want to off myself after just 1 preseason.
