Fumbles in CCM

I am so sick of all the Fumbles in CCM. I play as the bears, rarely do I throw picks. I always take good care of the ball and run a balanced offense. There have been game where I lost 5 fumbles. Forte dropped 2 Marshall dropped 1 bush dropped 1 and cutlet had 1 legit one. Does anyone have advice as to how to limit fumbles. It's just rediculous.

Are you covering up the ball with the RB button? That's one way to prevent them. Also, try not to run head-on into a defender. I've noticed that if I try to turn slightly so I get grazed rather than smacked right in the mouth, I fumble a lot less.

I didn't have many fumbles before the patch but I've had 4 with Marshawn Lynch in 2 games.

Aside from what TJ said about covering and not hitting defenders head on, you can always lower the hum fumble slider and/or the cpu tackle slider...both should affect the amount of fumbles you have.

It is ridiculous. If I don't hold RB I think I fumble once every 3 tackles.

rb i drafted got 88 carrying, has not fumbled so far, either upgrade the carrying strait or turn the fumble slider

what the point of going on the internet and complain about a problem you can fix with sliders?

Stop trying to truck the huge DL and LBs with little Forte and you'd be fine. Size and momentum takes part in all those fumbles.

I might get a couple a game, regardless of holding RB( I always have it pressed if anyone is near). What I find amusing is my QB can get destroyed, yet no fumble. Only seems to be RBs.

Picked up an undrafted RB, 58 ovr. Only 80 spd but 95 trucking, 86 str, 92 stiff arm, 90 sta, but only 77 carry. Last night ran him 39 times for 176 and 3td's in a preseason game and no fumbles on all pro. Ran all middle and off tackle. I force alot of fumbles on the cpu running sweeps and tosses.

Im convinced ratings mean nothing in Madden (once again). Chris Polk is my number one back now and I see no difference between him (rated 64) and my other backs (rated 78-80).

also ppl switch the the side on which u are holding the ball (tap x on ps3) u rarely fumble if they dont hit u in the ball.

Thanks for some of the tips. I guess a few could have been avoided by holding the ball properly. But some of them are almost immediately after receptions. Nothing I can do about those.

Because there are only 2-3 ratings that matter most. For a HB, obviously you can either be speed or power. Power has lower ratings but tougher to tackle and bring down.

I see that some of you guys have been knocking him for not switching the ball (x) or for running head-on into a defender but I too have experienced an unacceptable amount of fumbles since installing the patch. I have played with the slider but only with limited success. Last night I had it set to 40 and still had five fumbles (3 me, 2 cpu).

What do you guys have this slider set at? Curious...
