I remember the N64 days when football players had their own video games. Didn't Troy Aikman have one?

I played those games 24/7 as a kid indtead of playing games other kids did. But Im a loser because I don't know Pokemon or Dragonball Z names.

I only got M12 back in Feb. and I have put a lot of time in with custom settings and sliders... but also building custom offensive and defensive playbooks as well. The story lines look interesting from what I have seen spoiled, but I don't really want to pay $60 for a twitter feed and updated rosters.

Now, I have high hopes for Madden 14, but what I really want are improvements in line interactions and massive improvements to the artificial intelligence. Not just on the field AI, but decision making and other areas as well. For example, the computer constantly taking a time out with 1:01 left in the half/game. Also, the AI seems confused on what it wants to do at the end of each half. It will call a draw or a FB dive to run out the clock, and then call a quick time out... and then do that again two more times and punt it to me.

I have read/seen that some people at OS have found copies on Craig's List for like $20. Now I could see paying $20 but not $60. At least not when I already have 10, 11, 12, and NCAA 11... and ESPN 2k5... and APF2k8. I need a lot more to blow another sixty bucks. I have an entertainment budget, and there are other games on my list I have yet to buy. In a weird way that actually makes me happy I don't feel the need to buy 13.
I agree!...$60 bucks is a lot of $$. I got mine on sale for $47.00..the Toys r Us deal they had for pre-order. Yea, I wouldn't pay the $60.+ for it.

I like this years gameplay, the other stuff, eh!...they took out too much stuff. That was very dissapointing. I like reading the twitter stuff, but it's no big deal like you said. If you're happy with the Madden 12 yea then stay with that...That's a good game too..I still have it...That and this years version are the only ones I have. Next years version should be better no doubt...I hope!..lol

peace

Lol..I never had a N64, I'm sure there were some good football game for it. Can't recall Troy having a football game under is name but you would know more then me.

I'm from the old school of gaming. Commodore 64/Amiga from the early 80's. I did have the Sega Genisis that I purchased for my son and got their first Madden Football. That was a cool game at the time! I remember the most from that game were the halftime highlights of other games in progress. That was so unique for its time. I prob still have somewhere in a box!..lol

IMO Madden 13 was a big step backwards with presentation (besides the commentary), but a big step forward in just about every other aspect. I will stick with 13, and it isn't close.

How can people say this when in madden 13 players are falling over each other.....It looks unpolished....12 has better game play hands down

I remember having a baseball game for Sega that had alien characters and stuff. Was def the most badass game of all time.

I grew up on N64 though. Even played I up until the PS2 released. I'd play my Aunts boyfriend at the time in Madden 98 and he showed me how to play football and all.

But I swear there was a football game named after a QB.

Agree...."rag doll physics" does not mean that players should flop around and act like rag dolls.....

The ONLY gameplay element that is better in Madden 13 is the updated passing game (which is also in NCAA 13). If they had that in Madden 12, I would never had purchased 13 with it's wannabe "World of Madden" elements.
