Quick Challenge with LT/L2 Still Broken; Challenge System Broken

When prompted to challenge without pausing the game by pressing either LT/L2, the game will sometimes call a timeout out rather than a challenge.

In a separate incident I caught a 35 yard pass and went out of bounds at the one yard line. The pass was called incomplete, so I challenged (With LB, not pause menu) the play as my receiver clearly had one foot planted and dragged his other in bounds. The call on the field was overturned rightly and when play continued i was 2nd down back where the last play had started. I wasn't charged a time out so i definitely won the challenge. Really annoying as i rarely win challenges, and I can't help but feel that if I were to pause the game and challenge, it would have been fine.

These are glitches that plagued the game last year as well, EA needs to address this for the next patch.

its not broken dude damn. works fine for me.

we have all had plays where we were clearly inbounds but the challenge was upheld to say you were out. its not perfect but its not broken.

It's not broken because it does work. Out of the 4 challenges I've done, 3 have been by the L2 prompt and one I did on my own from the pause menu.

The 3 from the L2 prompt all worked and placed the ball/possession correctly.

The one challenge I initiated (which was great, saw the receiver tapped both feet inbounds) was ruled an incompletion and then overturned. However, the ball was spotted back at the original spot, down was repeated and I was not charged a timeout. So kinda a mixture of everything working and not working.
