I'll download the custom roster. Go into the "My Madden" feature. Go into the edit player feature and the moment I go to change a players position the game freezes. I just really started downloading the custom rosters this year, due to the fact that franchise mode isn't really the same. Decided to try the new rosters out and now this happens. Is anyone having the same problem or is there a work around to this issue?

No. I was just editing a couple of players, and adding a created player to the rosters just a few hours ago in preparation for the patch on Tuesday, and it didn't freeze on me.
I did not try editing positions though...hopefully it's not related to that. That would suck.
What system are you on? I'm on XBOX -

That's weird. I've updated rosters every time a new one comes out, but this is the first time I've actually gone through it to edit and create players. I saw a post about this same issue on the EA madden forums. So maybe it's something with new rosters. Unless you're the person from the EA forums lolComment

i know the play now ones had an issue a few updates back with freezing up... but they fixed that because when they added the 2 new rookie cb's to browns and if u tried editing there postions it would freeze up the ps3 but since like week 3 i've had no issues with freezing.Comment

I did this, deleted any of my previously edited rosters, and reloaded the 'Custom' roster that gets downloaded from EA.
It seems to be working now. See if you can do something similar on your PS.Comment
