Editing in CCM = distorted appearances?

Anyone else having this issue? I figured I'd alter the appearance of a certain player who is much skinnier in the game than real life. I couldn't do it in the main menu so I started a new CCM to see if I could edit him there.

Upon hitting "edit" and going to his player model it seemed most of his appearance sliders shifted automatically. Whatever, I adjusted them to what I wanted, hit "accept" and moved on.

Lo and behold I enter a game and he's even skinnier than before. He should be a 320lb DT and he looks like a stick figure with freakishly large arms. I went back into the editor to see if I goofed, but the sliders for "belly" and "thighs" and "calfs" were NOT where I set them at. I readjusted and saved again, then just for the hell of i hot "edit" again.

Sliders were in the wrong positions again.

I should've known it was too good to be true.

I haven't tried this yet..but let me ask u this..when on the edit screen at the bottom is there an icon to save..maybe you need to save it immediately so it won't go into some default player model..just a hope

I just don't get how this would happen? Don't they test for these sort of things?

So they give us a patch that enables editing but yet that needs a patch so it works correctly. Lmao. Only EA.

So glad I didn't waist my money on Madden this year. I'll never buy Madden again until I read feedback on sites like this that the same issues that have plagued the title for years have been fixed. How does EA let consumers pay good money for this game? I can't believe how badly EA fails with the Madden title.

Man, I'm incensed by this. I started a new CCM and went to edit my OL and DL equipment and am now stuck with miniature player models. This is beyond ridiculous. I really want to take a positive tack on the patch, but given that the ability to edit players was a big selling point, I can't believe that the function has such an obvious and fundamental flaw.

So it's OL,DL, and WR that are affected? Are there other positions?

Frustrating, but this has got to be one of those issues EA is gonna have patched as soon as possible....Think positive....

Has anyone tried saving right after fixing the arm issue at the players screen cause it saves to hard drive..then going into a game and seeing if its still there..not sure I'm explaining what I mean right..but I can't try this until I get home from work..which is 8hrs or I would do it and post results

I don't see why they even added body editing and messed everything up all most people wanted was equipment & jerseys numbers..

EA and ASAP shouldn't be used in the same sentence. There will probably be another patch roll out sometime before Thanksgiving just to boost black Friday sales. EA cares about your money, not your gaming experience.
